ABSTRACT
The article discusses the findings of a new study on passenger attitudes to the environmental impact of flying, which shows that disparities in the carbon offsetting industry are undermining customer trust. The authors of the study found that the cost of offsetting a flight from London Heathrow to Paris Charles de Gaulle varies. The report also showed that a lack of a standard, simple and clear process by booking engines and airlines was impeding the willingness of customers to offset.
