ABSTRACT
The article focuses on MedLine, a bibliographic database that covers more than 75% of the world's biomedical periodicals and a project of the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM). It cites that MedLine has approximately 12 million citations and article abstracts, published in international biomedical periodicals since 1966. It describes the PubMed search system, a service that enables one to search in the MedLine database.
