ABSTRACT
The article discusses the projections of author Gwynne Dyer concerning the impact of global warming. These include a permanent crisis of food supply and the probability of wars. Dyer believes that under the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama, the country would be into an international carbon trading system and would ban the use of non-conventional oil. Dyer also suggests that the world should cut emissions by 80% and economies should completely be decarbonized by 2050.
