ABSTRACT
The article reports on the agreement reached by Haldex AB to divest a Japanese manufacturer of its division Garphyttan Wire. It is stated that Haldex's strategy is to focus on segments where it can achieve intra-group synergies and market positions based on innovative products for its long-term growth and profitability. The strong position of Garphyttan Wire in advanced spring wire manufacturing is also noted.
