ABSTRACT
The article discusses the making of the music release "So. Central Rain," by R.E.M., which was made in music engineer Mitch Easter's garage studio in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with the help of musician Don Dixon. The song was part of the band's 1983 debut album "Murmur" which included the song "Radio Free Europe."
