ABSTRACT
The article discusses common traps to avoid when conducting diversity training. Emotions shape the people's perspectives and any training that does not acknowledge and identify the emotional framework under girding issues is useless. Some trainers consciously or subconsciously present diversity as something other than white and male. The inclusion of senior-level management buy-in for diversity initiatives is also important.
