ABSTRACT
The article reports that financial services firms and network providers are strengthening their direct-market access (DMA) tools to prepare for a resurgence. According to Chris Wolf, managing partner and co-chief investment officer of Cogo Wolf Asset Management, there are several attractive investment opportunities in emerging markets but some may be overlooked. Sandeep Hebbar, a senior analyst with Celent's banking group, said that the factors that led to widespread DMA usage in developed markets will do the same in India and other countries.
