ABSTRACT
The article reports that medics in Gaza are helping Palestinian casualties after the Israeli air strikes in the region in January 2009. Médecins Sans Frontières has just over 70 staff assisting Palestinian medics to deal with the estimated 3,000 injured people, while the United Nations' Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees has more than 10,000 staff in Gaza.
