ABSTRACT
The article discusses workflow documentation. Amid a challenging economic climate it is essential that financial planning firms make optimal use of their time and minimize costs, and a workflow document can help. An effective document will reflect input from all staff on a variety of matters including work processes, responsibilities, and job descriptions. Once implemented a workflow plan will be carefully monitored, with staff meetings an opportune time for both reviewing and proposing changes.
