ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the effectiveness of varicella vaccine as treatment for all susceptible people over the age of one year in the U.S. Based from a case-control study conducted in Connecticut, live attenuated varicella vaccine has shown efficacy in medicating all susceptible people over the age of 1 year. Details of the study are included, highlighting the determined 85% overall efficacy of the vaccine and 97% effectivity in preventing moderate or severe disease.
