Gartner Names Contact Center Leaders

The article offers information on the 2008 Magic Quadrant for Contact Center Infrastructure report by industry research firm Gartner. The company notes steady growth in the market despite the current economic condition. It states that the growth was driven throughout most of North America by customer desire to replace existing systems and in other parts of the world by a high-volume of first-time, new system purchases. Companies which are included in the Leaders Quadrant include Alcatel-Lucent, Aspect Software, Avaya, Cisco Systems, Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Interactive Intelligence and Nortel.
