Just like a president, business owners should form their own Cabinets

Durkin, Karen
January 2009
Las Vegas Business Press (10712186);1/19/2009, Vol. 26 Issue 3, p23
The author advises business owners in the U.S. to form their own cabinet systems just like a president. She stresses the importance of being surrounded with people who will give support and advice to a business owner or manager. Also cited are types of business advisers who every business owner should have available for counsel, including certified public accountants (CPAs). She suggests considering a role similar to the Secretary of State, who handles relationships with other businesses, in building a team.
