ABSTRACT
The article reports on the efforts of the sponsors of afterparties and related events at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, Nevada in January to spend some money to draw a crowd. The customer appreciation reception hosted by Canon on January 9 will benefit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and included a silent auction, buffet and drinks, as well as a performance by Skip Martin. On January 10, a celebrity golf tournament was conducted.
