The article reports on the result of the survey conducted by Javelin Strategy & Research Inc. which focuses on the issues facing mobile banking in the U.S. The survey reveals that 47 percent of customers express their fear towards mobile banking brought by security threats. It was found that 56 percent of financial institutions failed to adopt authentication systems for their mobile banking services. It states that standards should be established by fianncial institutions to prevent bank fraud.
