ABSTRACT
The article reports on the highlights of the ImageOut 2008 film festival held in New York in October. The event featured 48 programs of 82 feature, documentary and short films from 21 different countries. Gerry Szymanski won the first Mary Elizabeth Knight Award for the Best Local Short for his biographical documentary "In·Sight·Out: Mark Groaning." Among the films that were voted as Audience Favorites are "Tru Loved," by Stewart Wade, "Pageant," by Ron Davis and Stewart Halpern and "No Bikini," by Claudia Morgado.
