ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the ruling issued by Judge Cindy Lederman of the Miami-Dade Circuit Court in Florida in the case of Frank Martin Gill of North Miami, who is challenging the law of the state prohibiting all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people from adopting children. According to Lederman, the sexual orientation of Gill should not prevent him from being able to adopt his two foster children. It notes that Florida is the only state that expressly prohibits all LGBT people from adopting.
