ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a roundtable discussion among experts on the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis. According to Robert Marcus of the Continuing Podiatric Medical Education, it is important to include a full medical history of other pre-existing medical problems when preparing a treatment plan for patients with arthritis. Erika Schwartz of the American Association of Women Podiatrists says she first prescribes non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) for her patients.
