ABSTRACT
This article reports on a manufacturing facility opened by Harman International Industries Inc. in Suzhou, China to produce automotive audio and entertainment systems for export throughout Asia. Dinesh C. Paliwal, chief executive officer of Harman, said this manufacturing and engineering expansion is a key element of their strategy for growth, while leveraging the attractive infrastructure, talented workforce and new business opportunities in the Asian markets. Key customers of the company include Shangha General Motors and Kia.
