JLG Opening China Factory

This article reports on the construction of a plant in Tianjin, China by JLG Industries Inc., a subsidiary of OshKosh Corp., to produce access and lifting equipment for sale in China and the rest of Asia. Craig E. Paylor, president of JLG, said they have chosen to expand in China because they believe the Asian market holds tremendous long-term potential for their access equipment. He added that in many respects, their Asian customers are just beginning to see the value that access equipment can provide in several applications.
