EFD Inc. Opens New Plant

This article reports on the opening of a new office, research and manufacturing facility by EFD Inc. consolidating the functions that previously took place in the Providence, Rhode Island area as of January 2009. EFD manufactures precision valve and electronics solder paste. Peter Lambert, president of EFD, said the move will help the company streamline its operations and further its efforts in the area of lean manufacturing.
