Country Report

The international community and environmental groups has raised criticism over the country's reliance on coal-burning electricity generators. In November 2008, inflation continued to decline as consumer price growth slows down to 3.7% year-on-year, marking the slowest growth rate since November 2007. Oil firm OKN Orlen is planning to sell its stake in Polish mobile operator Polkomtel in 2009.
