ABSTRACT
The article presents the 2008 report "Transportation Outlook: Truck and Trailer Financing Trends," based on a research conducted by Global Insights and commissioned by the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation. The report cited several factors that are forcing fleets to scale back and it also indicated the impact of the subprime mortgage industry on the equipment finance market. Forecast on the sales of different models of trucks and trailers for 2009 through 2013 are presented.
