UPS purchases hydraulic hybrid vehicle

The article reports on the purchase of hydraulic hybrid vehicles (HHV) by UPS as part of a public-private partnership aimed to increase commercial availability and use of alternative fuel vehicles in 2008. The results of the road testing of the HHV in Detroit, Michigan were disclosed by UPS and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It is also noted that the HHV will be deployed in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
