The article explores the significance of the PGA Tour Championship in improving the economic condition of the golf industry in the U.S. in 2009. It is the main objective of the PGA Tour association to sustain fan interest through the tournament but there are uncertainties along with the FedEx Cup. It is explained that both golf tournaments are highly important in the sports industry.
