ABSTRACT
The article reports that chemists have successfully engineered a molecule that is between benzene and its inorganic equivalent borazine. Within this molecule, one of benzene's carbon atoms is replaced with a nitrogen and another with a boron atom. This was accomplished by David Dixon of the University of Alabama, Lev Zakharov of the University of Oregon, and their respective colleagues.
