ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the standardized methodology for the collection and documentation of digital audio files. Several concepts on audio information management are discussed which include the consolidation of files, the standardization of file naming and the use of checksums and unique identifiers. It notes that the application of these concepts will facilitate successful retrieval of audio data.
