ABSTRACT
The article examines the banking conditions in New Hampshire. It is noted that a national economic haze has clouded many of the facts about banking and lending situation in the state. Generally, the state's banks are doing much better across the board than the Wall Street banks. The banks and credit unions are prudent in their lending. Most do not mess around with speculative investments and their conservative lending policies have remained unchanged.
