ABSTRACT
The article reports on the first phase of a planned $875 million plan to cover the roofs of buildings in California with solar panels. The Southern California Edison installed thin film solar photovoltaic panels on the rooftop of Fontana warehouse. It notes that there are nearly 150 projects in the final plan to place these generators on building roofs in the area. Its final design is expected to yield 250 million watts of generating capacity.
