The article provides information on rock band the Hold Steady which is compared to Bruce Springsteen. It states that John Agnello, the band's producer/engineer, became first a fan of the band after catching their set at South by Southwest in 2004. It presents the creation of the band's albums which include "Almost Killed Me," their first album, "Boys and Girls in America," and "Stay Positive." Information on the music equipment which Agnello preferred in recording the band's sound are discussed.
