The article focuses on the belief that analytics initiatives can help insurers to withstand the financial crisis in the U.S. Insurance companies are using customer profitability and customer lifetime value from their customer master data to detect and prioritize actions against potential customer attrition. They have also segmented agents and identified their most engaged producers.
