ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the religious significance of vegetarianism. According to the author, vegetarianism provides one effective way in which the modern Christian can again integrate the more general concerns of the church with a concrete personal piety. It notes that the experiment with vegetarianism can provide a firm contribution toward the development of new and dynamic forms of spirituality. It cites that one of the reasons for becoming a vegetarian is vegetarianism is good to one's health.
