ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the soothing notes of the religious press in the U.S. The author emphasizes that a great number of contemporaries religion is little more than a tolerated carry-over from less enlightened times. He added that if there is no sense of disparagement, people might call such contemporary men scientific humanists.
