ABSTRACT
The article presents information on piercing the corporate veil in regulated industries in the U.S. It explores several standards for piercing the corporate veil, such as domination and control, fraud and misuse of the corporate form, and causation. It discusses enterprise liability and other doctrines seeking to erode the requirements for piercing the corporate veil. It criticizes the calls for abolition of the veil piercing doctrine. It describes the relationship between traditional requirements for piercing the corporate veil and the regulatory framework.
