ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Washington D.C.-based Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission is accepting applications for its Creative Artists Residency program. According to the author, the program is an opportunity for contemporary and traditional artists from the U.S. to spend five months in Japan and cultivate cultural understanding.
