ABSTRACT
The article discusses research being done on the good results obtained from LASIK ablation centered on corneal vertex. It references a study published in the 2008 issue of "Investigations in Ophthalmology and Visual Science." The researchers found that LASIK with ablation centered on the corneal vertex produced visual, optical and refractive outcomes comparable to those of LASIK centered on the pupil.
