ABSTRACT
This article offers tips on crocheting custom-fit socks. Included is a chart of standardized measurements for men's and women's shoe widths and shoe sizes. There is a need to measure the circumference of the foot and leg in determining the size of the sock that one will make. It suggests trying on toe-up socks while crocheting them to achieve the best fit. Another crocheting consideration is the ability of socks to stretch in both width and length.
