The article reports that Tishman Construction Corp. has been assisting Perini Building Co., general contractor on the CityCenter project of MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, Nevada. The megaresort complex is a $9.1 billion real estate development project between the Monte Carlo and the Bellagio which would be comprised of seven major buildings. It relates how the recent downturn in the construction industry changed Tishman's responsibilities at CityCenter. It discusses the impact of Tishman on Perini's work on the project.
