The article focuses on the corporate responsibilities of consumer electronics manufacturers towards environmental concerns such as electronic waste management and energy conversation. It mentions the efforts of companies such as Nokia and Vodafone in their websites wherein they offer flashy video contents and links to websites of notable environmental and humanitarian organizations. The implications of the services and the features of mobile devices to the environment are also discussed.
