ABSTRACT
The article reports that the foodservice department at Evans Army Community Hospital in Fort Carson, Colorado has developed a healthy eating and lifestyle program. The program's goal is to change the negative perception of healthy foods, thereby creating healthier patients, staff and families. It aims to reduce trans and saturated fats, increase fruits, vegetables, legumes and nuts and moderate the amount of sugar and salt in diets.
