Country Report
The article presents an update on the economic condition and the macro-accessibility in Cyprus in 2007. The country has several U.S. companies that are represented on an agency/representative basis making it easy to find qualified Cypriots to serve as agents and distributors. U.S. franchises in the food business have been highly successful in the country. The non-European residents who wanted to work in the country are required to obtain work permits issued by the Migration Department.
