The article presents an update on the economic relationship between Cyprus and the U.S. According to the article, the most prominent aspect of the relationship between the country and the U.S. is the effort of the U.S. to help Cyprus in finding ways to resolve its political division. Furthermore, the country is a democratic and independent republic with a presidential system of government.
