ABSTRACT
The article looks at the problems with electronic information resources used by firefighters and other emergency workers. Technical issue is said to be responsible for some of the delays in offering rich data environment to firefighters. Retired firefighter Don Carnahan noted the tendency for important information in fire department files to be available on a mobile terminal far less often. Mobile-data expert Todd Wilkerson suggests a wholesale integration of pertinent public records.
