ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a study conducted by Cleveland, Ohio-based industry research firm Freedonia Group Inc., according to which the demand for elastomeric gaskets and seals in the U.S. will increase by 2.7% per year till 2012 to nearly $8.77 billion. According to Brendan Eyre, a Freedonia analyst and author of the study, automotive applications are the largest market for sealing products.
