The article offers information from the "4th International Conference on Trace Element Speciation in Biomedical, Nutritional and Environmental Sciences" which was held from May 25-29, 2008 in Munich-Neuherberg, Germany. W. Maher presented a lecture on arsenic speciation data for marine ecosystems. M. Dernovics spoke about selenium speciation in food and food supplements. J.A. Centeno discussed the role of trace element speciation in medical geology.
