Devon Energy Corp. bought a 1.5 megawatt (MW) wind turbine from Canadian manufacturer AAER Inc. for use at its Coleman Gas Plant in Alberta. Cano Petroleum Inc. signed commitment letters with Union Bank of California and Natixis for two new credit facilities worth $145 million. Chesapeake Energy Corp. decided not to take part in further shale exploration in Alabama with partner Energen Corp. due to inconclusive results from a three-well test program.
