Southwest Specialties owner Dave Pawl has reduced the firm's employees by almost half after company sales fell by 50% compared with 2007. Tom Letizia of Letizia Cos. reduced prices and used discounts as a marketing tool to retain its clients. CapSource has decreased its $150 million investment in commercial properties in July 2007 to $80 million.
