Cefic and ECTA sign agreement on Responsible Care

The article announces the agreement between the European Chemical Transport Association (ECTA) and CEFIC. Both have agreed to launch the Responsible Care initiative that will cover the chemical land transportation sector in Europe. Through the program, ECTA will develop a Responsible Care programme that follows the standards set by the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA). Challenges for the programme such as lack of human resources and increased cost of road usage are mentioned.
