Let Bosch Do the Parking

The article reports on the availability of Bosch Rexroth AG's parking assistant technology in A- and B-class vehicles from Mercedes-Benz. According to the article, the system uses ultrasonic sensors to get the exact measurement of a parking spot and then navigate the car into place. It says that if a parking space is large enough, the technology will inform the driver and then automatically steers the vehicle into place while the driver works the accelerator and brake.
