The article provides information on the document data capture project of the Allegheny County Controller's Office in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. It states that the office has installed AnyDoc Software Inc.'s Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and EXCHANGEit, which allowed them to take the data from the OCR process and then transfer into a line-of-business application. In connection, the software uses advanced as well as multiple OCR engines to capture poll worker. As a result, the employees can easily perform automatic table lookups in order to ensure the accuracy of captured data.
