ABSTRACT
The article forecasts the use of Microsoft SharePoint, leveraging business process management (BPM) and workflow to facilitate outsourcing in 2009. It states that enterprise content management (ECM) investments will increase to offset external litigation support costs and the SharePoint installations has exploded. Meanwhile, new approaches to the ECM provisioning content capabilities will also emerge. As a conclusion, the industry will see a renewed interest in BPM to facilitate additional outsourcing along with software as a service (SaaS).
